W9 Review

By Anne Winch on July 13, 2014

Great work group 9! I loved the way you used Edmodo as your platform for your topic. It is a great way to introduce everyone to it and allow us to explore other social media sites as well. I love using Edmodo and one of the reasons is that it is very easy to foster dialogue among the students. I enjoyed the replies and discussions created by each task and felt that it was very easy to contribute using this platform. The discussions helped me to see different points of view from other students, something which I miss on WordPress. I enjoyed the tasks, and although I am familiar with many of the sites that are mentioned, I did not realize just how many were available on the internet.

I think it would have been interesting to include some of the other things available on Edmodo such as the polls or the quiz functions, but this would be more about how Edmodo works than introducing other social media sites. It would have given you some other activities to include that were right on the site.

All in all, great work. I really enjoyed your presentation this week.

Anne
