Great work Week 9!
I loved your use of Edmodo! I enjoyed the format – it was interactive and engaging. It was also easy to navigate and very relevant to my own teaching practice. I like how the platform you chose complimented and reflected the topic of social media. We were able to share our thoughts and ideas, and interact with the various activities, videos, documents, and infographics that you shared with us. I definitely gained a renewed appreciation for social media and it’s place in education.
Some of the discussions were quite lengthy, but I think that just goes to show how interesting and relevant this topic is. It was great to learn about other peoples’ experiences with social media, and learn about the many different social media platforms that exist (so many!).
I am now going to learn more about Edmodo and how I can use it in my future classes!
