Thank you for a very informative week. Your use of Edmodo was an excellent way to demonstrate how social media could maximize our learning experience. I really appreciated how you provided a comprehensive history of social media, and gave us a definition of the term. You gave clear instructions to the activities, and also encouraged us to explore other social media tools such as Twitter. The topics presented were interesting and relevant to today’s classrooms. As a high school teacher, I’ve always wanted to try social media to promote communication between students, as well as helping students to be become more engaged in their learning processes. The topics presented in your OER have encouraged me to think about the future of social media, as well as exploring innovative ways to implement social media in my classroom.
