Based on the interesting and innovative 3D designs posted on our Flickr site, there is a lot of creative talent in our class! If you want more ideas, check out this array of amazing 3D printed items at World Maker Faire New York, from robots to wearable 3D prints – http://makezine.com/2013/09/22/3d-printed-robots/
The interim survey responses from our classmates show there is a lot of interest in 3D printing. To add to Danielle’s post about a maker lab happening in Vancouver, I’d like to share this site that shows upcoming Maker Faires happening around the world. You never know when one is happening in your very own neighbourhood! Besides public libraries, these events are a good way to see 3D printing in action and try it out for free. You can also get more information on starting a Mini Maker Faire where you live. http://makerfaire.com/map/
