Hello everyone,
Here are two embedded video files for A3:

Wow! Great job on your A3! I really enjoyed watching both of your pitches! Your Elevator Pitch grabbed me right away, I really enjoyed your jungle reference as well as your voice over! You show emotion and are very convincing to listen to. Your Elevator pitch was a bit long but I understand you had a good amount of information to express in a short amount of time. As for your Venture Pitch, also a job well done. I like the pictures and graphics, I also enjoyed that you used some real photos as well as clip art. Your product sounds useful and practical. I think you sell it well. Good job!

Feedback: Hi Nick, Great work on your venture/elevator pitch! This is a fantastic idea, and so relevant in a growing market of English language learners. I enjoyed watching your elevator pitch is very well done - love the logo. You definitely understand the existing market for this type of product, and provide a great overview of how you will develop this product and how you will expand this product to new markets. I would also be interested in learning how much it will cost users to use English Pathfinder? Could it also be implemented by schools to supplement students' English Language learning? Thanks for sharing your Pitch!

REVIEW: Hi Nick. Maybe it was my computer, but I found the audio for your pitches to be a bit difficult to understand. Aside from that, I thought both of your pitches were interesting and well-designed; I like your idea and I think it has a lot of potential. You outlined your competitors well and I thought that helped you to differentiate your product. RECOMMENDATION: Although you have a lot of competition, I would still probably invest. I think how well you can advertise your product is going to be the key factor for how successful your product is.

Feedback: Hi Nick, I'm glad I had the opportunity to review a variety of ESL ventures for this assignment. While this market is growing there seems to be very few programs that fit to teachers/learners needs. I think your program is a great idea in that it allows for personalized learning for an individual or a class. I really enjoyed the name for your business and think that its very appropriate given the current market.

REVIEW: This was a great and well presented idea. I thought that the elevator pitch was really well done. It looked very professional and had a logo. The images matched the content and it looks like a very useful tool. I think that the games are a great way to enhance learning especially for younger students. Business English and exam prep are two contexts where I could see users getting really excited. I liked that you identified the market and the current competition and identified their gaps. I might have explicitly had a section called “The Competition” where you discuss the competition so that it is more obvious that they are your competition or perhaps have it at the top of the screen when you present them. I was just confused for a minute at the beginning of the first one (English Town). I liked that you numbered and explained the solutions as well. The only real thing that might enhance the experience for me would be to have more of the content listed, there were some lists that I thought might have been useful to see. I was also wondering how interactive it would be, are their different levels of class like part time or full time? Is there a guarantee of time that you have with a person? You also discussed the financial structure in what I thought was a great way. I think online learning is the future. Well done!

FEEDBACK - Hi Nick, your app is a great idea and your elevator pitch (even though it was a bit long) kept my attention. I think focusing on your marketing strategy and development plans would have helped to keep your venture pitch concise and more effective. I’m not sure if I got how much money you were looking for from an investor.

Review: When I watched your elevator pitch, the first thing that caught me as an investor was that it could be used for classroom or individual learning. We all know that language training is only becoming more important as globalization occurs, and I found it interesting that this app offered various avenues to different kinds of learners. The images and language you use really lend a professional and informed tone to the pitch, and as an investor makes me feel confident. In terms of the venture pitch, I agree with helder, that the length caused me to pause and lose sight of what your overall objectives were. Being explicit and concise is crucial to maintaining this investor's attention.

Feedback: I like the idea of going mobile. Also, I like the ideaa of personalized learning. As an EVA I would need to get an idea of how the app works. In your venture pitch you could include an example of what someone experiences when using the app.

English Pathfinder sounds like an interesting app. I'm not sure if I would invest in it however I can see the market for it and the idea is great. I would probably be interested if the product was already in beta and I could see how it actually worked. That said, you do have a clear plan to get where you want to go. If I were familiar the the companies you mentioned, I would probably jump onboard. I liked your slideshow, it had nice visuals. You also have a clear and engaging speaking voice and you sound confident and passionate about your venture. I found your venture pitch interesting but I now understand why eight minutes was our assignment limit. I found myself pausing the video at 8:21 only to see that I was only about half way through. I think that a shorter video would have conveyed your pitch better. I know that it was hard to decide what info was important and what needed to be axed but I think it is important to do. Great work!
