Please enjoy viewing my Analyst Report of the i3dClub – 3D printers. For this report, I looked at the i3Club package that features 4 Mini-Robo 3D printers, the Robo 3D printer, complete lesson plans, and technical support through the website http://i3d.club/. An i3D salesman, John Bokla, was visiting the school that I work at in September to provide a workshop for teachers on how to use the i3D printers. The analyst report includes interview footage from John Bokla along with teachers who participated in the workshop to provide varying perspectives on the ease of use and application of this emerging technology. In other MET courses, we have focussed on how to use technology to support sound pedagogy so it was interesting to take an EVA perspective and focus on the viability of integrating emerging technology into a learning space. Generally I use iMovie to create video footage but for this assignment I choose GoAnimate. I was looking for a more “business” friendly format that could be effectively used for an elevator pitch, which will be required for Assignment 3.

Nice work, Laurie. I'm just getting around to viewing the A1s in depth now. I thought Bokla did particularly well explaining availability of i3Club product for students and schools.
