Starting in the 1980s, there was an easy way for young graduates with BAs to travel, have some fun and adventure, and work based simply on their ability to speak their native tongue, English. While there have been such opportunities in several non-English speaking country in the world, most jobs have been in Asia and have reflected trends in manufacturing exports. Chronologically, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea and China have each had a respective wave of manufacturing for the west and a corresponding need for English Language Learning (ELL). China, with its enormous population, now has greatest need, promise and potential for the ELL industry.

But something new has happened: because of video chat one no longer has to move to Asia to teach Asians English. Golden Voice English is a brand new company that looks to exploit the medium of video chat and focuses on the newest and biggest ELL market, China.
