Visme Infographic

By silver on November 29, 2015

I decided to represent some safety data for a imagined mill as a Visme Infographic.  While this activity introduced me to the basics of Visme, I need more time to learn the complex tools.  One of the issues I ran into was with the charts.  I wanted another type of recordable incidences to be represented in the pie chart; however, when I tried to add it in, the percentage labels were too cluttered.  I’m not sure if there is an easy way to move the labels around on charts without having to re-enter them in your data table.  I also found the program to be a bit “clicky” and “finicky”.  I felt like I had to make a lot of mouse clicks in order to edit the items provided in the template, particularly the text boxes.  Overall though, I love the feel of Visme infographics and am looking forward to exploring them more.  Here is the link to my infographic
