I decided to use Piktochart in order to create my infographic, and I found my experience to be pretty seamless and enjoyable. I was pleasantly surprised by the range of options for graphics, and appreciated how easy it was to move the text boxes and icons around. My Infographic was about the history of silent reading. I am currently enrolled in ETEC 540 and decided to complete a documentary on this topic, so I had the information available to me. I have to admit though, it was a lot of information to have to sort through for key point to include on the infographic. I imagine this is an issue that many experience when using such a visual and somewhat specially limited medium.
