Hello from Vancouver!

By Gary Ma on May 15, 2016

Hello everyone,

I am Gary and MET 522 and I am currently in the second semester in the program. I started the MET program earlier this year in hopes of learning more about how to effectively utilize technology in education and I am interested in MET 522 because I believe it will give me an opportunity to learn about different technological platforms and how/why they have become successful.

I am currently employed as a mathematics teacher in West Vancouver. I have been teaching for two years, but teaching has been one of my aspirations growing up. Outside of work, I enjoy playing and watching basketball, working out, travelling to new places around the world, and trying out new restaurants.

Below is a picture of my German Shepherd Rosa, who likes to fetch, and eat carrots.
