Analysis of Haiku Learning (LMS)

By Noan on June 13, 2016

Currently, Green School is investigating Haiku Learning as a promising LMS for our school. In this Education Venture Analysis, I went a step farther and explored what might Green School be interested in if we were to not only purchase services from Haiku, but invest in the software itself.

Halfway through my information gathering, I learned that another company had been interested in Haiku… Powerschool. Only days ago this announcement came on Haiku’s website indicating they had been purchased by the larger company. Below is my video submission:

My school uses PowerSchool. It's a widely-used software in Ontario and probably elsewhere. I had not heard of Haiku before but you clearly selected a product on the cusp of something big in light of the merger last week! I appreciated your thorough analysis of many of the business aspects. I selected a topic quite different from Haiku so it was very interesting to compare. I'm sure the current investors in Haiku are elated this week!
