Hello Week #6 Group: I have never participated in a live Twitter Chat before and so being able to participate in this activity while I continue to work my way through the MET Program will be a memory that I will keep for many years. After the chat was over I was left with a question. Have any of you tried initiate a live Twitter Chat with your students outside the "traditional" school hours? It has been an idea that I have been contemplating with a semester long current events project that I have my Social Studies students to complete. I have been exploring ways of how I could expand this project beyond the classroom walls in my ever ending quest to discover new ways to motivate students to take an active ownership role in their learning.
