Analyst Report: Classcraft

This is a very interesting app. Have you ever read anything by Edward de Bono? He wrote a book called six hats and each one has a role and perspective. In a meeting or problem solving discussion, it is interesting to have participants wear the different hats so that all participants have a chance to 'role play' and look at an issue from different perspectives rather than from the one they would normally or habitually take. This has been a very effective tool for professional development and breaks perspectives into ways of thinking instead of hard truths or right and wrong. I can see that this game also provides an opportunity to do this and would love to see something where students could interact at a post secondary level, particularly in my field of resource management and wear the hat of all participants in an issue to break down myths and prejudice and get into conversations about creative problem solving and a collaborative solution that addresses the issues rather than individual agendas.
