Products from eWriteSteps curriculum to instructional videos to personalize coaching, Suzanne and her team work to create a program that is suitable for the needs of all educators.
Suzanne Klein has almost 7 years of experience as an elementary school teacher and has been presented professional development sessions on Balance Writing. During the initial years of teaching Suzanne did not have much guidance on how to prepare students for assessment. As time passed and her students were not doing well on the standard assessments, she began researching and developing methods to improve students interest in writing. Her ideas spread through open sessions with other educators. With the growing number of interest in Suzanne’s ideas and methods that was not available at the time, she launched WriteSmart. Based on her profile and interviews, Suzanne’s motivation for this venture is to inspire students and teachers in order to create positive change. What I found interesting about her team was that not only each member had over 10 years of experience in their respected field, they are all passionate about making a difference for their family and children.
