Hi everyone,

Happy New Year! Wishing you and your loved ones a very happy and prosperous 2018!

This is my 9th UBC course… I hope to complete the course by Spring, crossing my fingers.

I have been working as an Instructional Designer for the last 15 years specializing in designing and developing eLearning courses for hospitals, financial institutions, management firms, etc. Currently, working for Sanofi Pasteur (a vaccine manufacturing company).

This course really gave me an opportunity to learn new things as most of my colleagues here are from Education field. They teach children and want to learn how to incorporate technology in their learnings. Whereas, my audiences are adult learners and they learn very differently. But one thing is common in both – very short attention span. I think we all must be facing the same challenge of designing/creating a course that is short & sweet but effective.

I am excited about this course as the first topic that came up is about Microlearning.

It will be fun learning together with all of you.
