Hello Everyone!

By Stephen Tod on January 8, 2018

Hi everyone,

My name is Stephen and this is one of my last two courses for my MET degree!!!  I’m in a new setting this year as I have left Northern Lights SS in Moosonee, ON after ten years as a teacher, Department Head and District e-Learning Coordinator/Technology-Enabled Learning Teacher to accept a new position as a Vice Principal and Special Education Teacher at St. Martin of Tours in Whitney, ON.

I am passionate about technology in education and promoting how it can be used to redefine how students learn.  This course interests me as I wish to examine how global markets are changing in relation to the increased use of technology in learning.  I had originally started work on a B.Comm but decided 2 courses in that the MET provided something I was more passionate about.

I enjoy sports and winter outdoor activities.  I am a devoted fan of the Winnipeg Jets, New York Jets and Toronto Blue Jays.  Included is my profile picture along with my small protest against corporate creeping into sports.

I look forward to working with everyone in this course.
