Hola! Pardon my late entrance into this course. I have recently moved to Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico, and there has been some disconnect with my email and Dr. Vogt’s. With a little problem solving, I have now arrived to “the inside” and am excited to get started on my FINAL course in the MET program! Last semester, I completed MET 590 – Graduating Project, but still need an additional three credits. When I read the course description for ETEC 522, I knew that this course would be a fitting finish to my program efforts.
As a distance learning teacher for the past eleven years, I have designed and created many resources that are accessible online for my students and for other colleagues within my learning environment. All of these resources have been open sourced. Designing a resource or tool that could make me a profit while I sleep is intriguing ;), yet I consider myself fairly ill-equipped to pursue this possibility. I am hoping that this course will help grow my confidence, as well as give me the knowledge and the tools that are needed to be a more effective innovator.
Best to all as we move through this learning together!
