Great OER gentlemen. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wouldn't change anything. I loved the theory you introduced regarding learning styles, the actual resources you made available with the constructive feedback for usability in the education system. You provided a number of opportunities for discussions with even a cool collaborative activity at the end. (Haven't checked it out yet :) ) BRAVO, ~shannon

VIL Team - Thanks for posting the collaborative infographics - a neat way to wrap up this learning week! What became very obvious was the clarity of information shared on the infograph versus the mesh of learning on the collaborative whiteboards. In regards to your overall OER, one of the strengths for me is the section on learning theories and varied intelligences and ways of learning. This is such a fascinating topic in itself, but you brilliantly interwove it into your OER. The idea of communicating more effectively with less words is something that I am keeping with me from this past week, and hope to consider further to improve my own instructional practices.

Robert, Scott, Stephen -- You've put together a highly informative OER. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour into VIL, and was surprised to learn how little I knew about the space. What I especially enjoyed was the theory and various activities. I think beyond the classroom, there is a significant use/demand for these resources in team collaboration, business planning, business reporting, and general communication with stakeholders. I think the value in the VIL space will be to determine how to best bundle the services in such as way that the LARS framework is fully represented, which then positions the product as not only a tool for projects/activities, but more broadly focused to higher student engagement. The pricing models seem well thought out but the landscape will likely become quite over populated, so there will be disruptions and aggregation, and the one or couple VILs who have positioned themselves as full service support for LARS will prevail, IMHO. With thanks to you, great OER.

Thank you for sharing your research, Robert, Scott and Stephen! I think I snagged two important takeaways this week. Firstly, Canva was fun to create with. I love putting a new tech tool in my back pocket. The infographic tools create endless lesson ideas for really, any subject. Also, I really liked how you organized the content for comparing the different tools out there, and that they had free options. At the end of the day, free is music to a teacher's ears. It isn't that I won't invest money into a program, however, I definitely want to try before I buy. I really wasn't too keen on the digital whiteboards, but this is because I am in love with my real ones. Table top whiteboards for student collab is the best! :)

Hey guys, Just wanted to say that this is a great resource for all teachers. I really appreciate the details you went into to compare various tech. As a teacher these comparisons save me hours of personal research. What I think I walk away with from your whole OER is that Visually Intensive learning is not just for "Visual Learners" and that there are a wide variety of methods teachers can use to help all students benefit from learning in this way. I really like the white board interface you introduced us to (AAW). I had never heard of it. I have had students brainstorm in the past, but unless they write it down (some where other than my whiteboard) it is gone. This is a great place where they can work and save their ideas/discussions/work. Thanks!

Hey guys, I am enjoying your OER so far and was about to post some additional resources/platforms on the Infographic padlet https://etec522-visual-intensive-learning.weebly.com/infographics.html but there are no options to add content to the padlet. Maybe a small tweak to the padlet and you can get it so it can accept content. Brian
