VR for School Districts?

By Matt on February 13, 2020

Virtual Reality is an exciting new frontier in education. Many teachers, principals, parents, and students are anxious to begin teaching and learning with this new technology and are encouraging their school districts to invest in this expensive technology.  School Board members and Superintendents are wondering if now is the time to invest in this initiative, but they want to make sure that they are getting the best bang for their buck.  This video explores some options for VR in the classroom along with its pros and cons and gives a recommendation for current school districts to use as they make their investment decision.  Give the video a watch and see what you think!

Great analysis Matt! I thought you approached the topic very objectively and the format for your analysis kept my attention from start to finish. The only thing I would have wanted a little extra information on would have been a little more background on the companies and options you mentioned for VR products/ solutions for the classroom. Even though your analysis concluded that it would be best to wait on investing in the technology, I wondered which company or product you consider to be the best? Which one do you think has the greatest potential to develop as the market leader? Or which one do you think investors should keep their eye on. Honestly though, this was a fantastic analysis and I really enjoyed your video.
