Have you ever wanted something but couldn’t get it or buy it? Why not make it? 3D Printing enables people to make anything. From educational tools to houses to organs, just about anything is possible with 3D Printing.
3D Printing is a technology that has been around for several years but is a technology that continues to rise and has an incredible future ahead of it.
I chose to analyze this technology because of the potential that it holds. Within classrooms, 3D Printing can bring various content alive and allow students to see and interact with manipulatives, that they potentially made. This technology has skills that are transferable to areas outside of the classroom as well, such as medicine, fashion, housing and space travel. 3D Printing is a fascinating technology that can transform education and equip students with skills for jobs that haven’t been created yet and prepare them to solve global problems.
