Is it possible to download your brain? Is it possible to map the connections between the billions of neurons in your brain to create, store and retrieve every thought, every memory and every experience you have ever had? This fascinating subject is the brainchild (pun not-intended!) of a developmental starter company Brain Backups. The company’s aim is to map every ‘connectome’ or genome of the brain in a way that will transform neuroscience and brain imaging forever. The company’s website state that “With myriad brain functions and dysfunctions better understood, scientists will be able to offer personalized connectome mapping and true personalized medicine.” To read more about the company, click below:
