Consider our brave new world that moves at high speeds and requires fast reactions; our busy schedules and less free-time; our need and desire to learn new skills and acquire knowledge via concise information that is to the point, easy to digest, convenient and effective. Microlearning is a learning strategy that offers a solution in this revolution in the digital world of technology that is transforming the ways in which we communicate, work, learn, and live.

What is Microlearning?
A self-directed form of learning or training designed as a series of short, repetitive lessons comprised of small chunks of information and engaging activities in order to target certain learning objectives.

Why Microlearning?
With an increasing demand for mobile workforce training as well as a growing need for skills-based and result-oriented training in both the classroom and the workplace, Microlearning is the answer to the maximum amount productivity that society expects from us. This concept of microlearning has been utilized into a variety of online based learning platforms like Ted Ed which offers 5 min video on a variety of different content. Ted Ed offers a short follow up discussion section to check retention.
