Hello,
I present to you a venture. Pardon me if when I say venture it sounds like adventure.
The world as we know it has changed, think COVID-19 and the closure of all schools. I quote David Vogt, a Professor at the University of British Columbia. “You don’t need to look very far to see how much the opportunity horizon for learning technologies has expanded in a very short time with the current pandemic. When the virus is contained that horizon will not contract; I predict it will continue to grow significantly. For example, look at all the shut-down schools and universities that are learning to serve their learners in new ways – physical classrooms will be repopulated, but the blend of how learning happens is likely changed forever.

The traditional models of schools do not work anymore. Here is an often repeated, in different ways, but the same idea, quote from students,“We are still learning the same things as our parents and grandparents”.The time has come for a revolution in education and we are ready to do it. It is time for a change. I am here to tell you a new story of technology disruption of education. I predict that our solution will sweep the world faster than Montessori, overtake Kumon overnight and change the face of education this century.
(Please excuse the way the audio sounds, COVID-19 has affected my access to my office.)
Please watch my elevator pitch here.
Here is my adventure, sorry, venture.
Here is my reflection.
Thank you in advance for your time and interest,
Ram Etwaroo.
