Hello Kevin, what an intriguing venture. First, you appear to be the right fit to found such a company. Your passion and expertise shine through. LIT is an effective name. Easy to remember and fits the mission of the venture. You have an added value proposition, compared to your competitors which is the fact that are going to collaborate with regional/local artists....I think it may be a real draw for schools and also local dram companies. What a positive partnership! I admit that it was challenging for me to picture exactly how the product would look like and what it would do but knowing a little about VR, I appreciated that you explained that in an LA class, performance enhanced the meaning of language. It's the one argument that made me intrigued about your product because its true that not all schools can give access to the infrastructure needed to perform. So a venture able to democratize this experience by bringing it to all schools is definitely something to look at from the point of you of a school board or administrator. If you are going to take the next step, I think you must invest in the services of a web designer to start building at least part of the site that would host the resource. After reading the venture pitch, I felt that I could not really picture the product or that it was too vast. Also form my perspective, Prezi might not be the ideal format for your venture pitch. I experienced some frustration navigating through the slides (not just with your prezi though!). A well done Google slide or a website integrating what your own site would look like may be more effective. Overall, Its a venture I would like to see going further because the authenticity, the real life experience and the education epxerience of the founder were obvious so it tells me that once you have solid technical support to concretize your venture, it's likely goind to be a solid product.

Dear Carla, What an inspiring project. I really hope you'll take the next step and start fundraising. This is a project I would invest in and also help with from the other end of Africa (Morocco)!. I think it's important that develop a sense of pride in African identity and also come up with local solutions to the many challenges that this continent is facing.

Oh and you are right, the venture is in line with M. Yunus philosophy of microcredit. He is the one who started this shift in the way we approach social work. He deserves much credit for all the good that came out of his idea.

Thanks for the feedback James, I really appreciate that you took the tims to go through the pitches and that you think the venture is a great idea! It definitely takes some background knowledge to understand what the venture is about You make an excellent point. I'm not familiar with the process of pitching to investors for an AI firm, my guess is that they would have the knowledge. However if pitching to non profit organisations, I would probably need to explain the technical terminology.

Hello Emily I'm so glad you felt inspired because that's my goal to inspire investors and I felt inspired through the whole process of designing these pitches. I do agree, I really need to elaborate on my competition and I will. Thanks so much for your kind words,

Thank you for your review Ram. I'll answer here as others may have the same concerns. Here are the names of some of the most successful tech. companies:Apple, IBM, Samsung,Microsoft. While I'm not a marketing specialist, I was aiming for sobriety, serious and an easy name to remember when I picked DJM.The firm is set to become a for profit company. Originally it did stand for Digital Job Morocco but I decided not to limit the scope of DJM to minorities in Morocco. I like that its an acronym, its sober (along the lines of IBM), easy to remember and it does also reflect the company mission. DJM is aiming at doing the work that charities used to do only instead of giving money we are giving jobs and empowering people. They are not at the receiving end anymore, they are not beggars. They are workers. To accomplish this mission we are using digital jobs. So its a methodology. I also like that the name does not frame the company into a corner. Like IBM which stands for the very vague International Business Machines Corporation, with a name like DJM, the company has a lot of room to do many things as long as they are related to digital jobs. As you mention, the need for data training may decrease at some point but that's not what DJM is about...we'll just adapt ourselves to the new market and will offer new services in relation to what companies want. Thanks for your interest.

Thanks Matt. I'm so interested by this idea and it has deep societal implications. On one hand it might tremendously improve the overall quality of education but there is also a risk for increasing inequalities. I don;t know actually because your concept demands that we think deeply about it. Your concept may be a good fit for a social enterprise. Also, if one school district or one ministry of education could partner with you and launch this model in an experimental way...let's say in one school district it would be fascinating to observe how it does unfold. I hope you pursue this idea, I love it!
