Feedback: Great work Kendra, your pitch makes a very convincing argument for investing in the professional development market. One of the strongest aspects of your elevator pitch is the fact that you have already had some success as a team. The tidy use of media, and an on-screen narrator, gives your video a personal feeling, and nicely complements the story of your venture. Very effective pitch.

Review: Nice work, i'm convinced that English language education is a very viable portion of the market and I can tell that you are passionate about the topic and your venture. You elevator pitch begins with a concise forecast of the market, this is an effective way to present to investors who are most often driven by revenue potential. I would suggest making a quick note about what kind of investment you are looking for while you are on the topic of money before moving on; investors can then focus on the remaining content of your pitch having had there main money question already answered. The extensive information about your business model and development plan conclude your pitches nicely and are characteristic of a very thorough and professional entrepreneur. Your pitch provides an effective explanation of competing products and how each is different than your own. This explanation of the competition mainly focuses on the functional differences which affect the user. You do a good job of arguing that your product will serve users better however I also think that this argument could be made stronger if you can convince investors that your product will also serve consumers better. As an investor I would like to know how consumers are going to hear about your product and how easy it will be from them to implement it, in addition to the size and location of the market. I realize that detailed information on marketing strategy may be beyond the scope of the current phase of your venture; discussing the people that will be involved in executing the different aspects of your plan may give investors more confidence knowing that you will have skilled team members working in these areas. Although I have made a number of suggestions, I do not think that your pitches are weak, you have simply presented a well researched venture in a lot of depth, ultimately providing the investor with solid information about a solid venture and a driven entrepreneur. Great job.

Feedback: Nice pitch, both of your videos are a good mix of images and personality; I felt like a got to know the entrepreneur and the product in a balanced fashion. Your product is an excellent idea with huge potential, I think tricky part is aiming your pitch at a particular market, I found the scope of the project to be too broad. As an investor, I'd be a little nervous trying to jump into such a wide range of markets. I know it's beyond the scope of this assignment but for such a technology it could be useful to have a few pitches to target different markets and different investors. Overall, you did an excellent job at pitching an exciting piece of technology with huge potential which would be difficult for an investor to ignore. Well done.

Feedback: I'm a big fan of game-based learning and I like the idea of basing games around field-trips. In terms of investment, I would need some more information about the experience and why expensive virtual reality technology would be marketable when rich multimedia is available online. I understand that your system would be game-based, unique, and designed for education, but I think your competition is free low-tech resources that educators my feel are good enough, and much more affordable. Both your pitches are well constructed and your product has a lot of potential. You are tackling a worthy cause and attempting to enhance the students media experience, offering free trials may be a good way to prove to users and consumers that the experience you're offering is well worth it.

Review: Nice work, thanks for using education technology to tackle history curriculum, I'm constantly looking for more interactive ways to teach the subject at it seems like there is a pretty big void in this part of the market. As a teacher I was definitely intrigued by your elevator pitch, it does a good job of explaining the function of your venture and the video works well to get the viewer in the mood for archaeology. As an investor, I would have like to have seen a little bit of information about the market and your investment goals just to get a quick snapshot of the kind of opportunity your venture might be to help me decide whether or not to view your main presentation. Even though I wasn't quite sure where to start, your venture pitch caught my attention and did a great job of leading me through the benefits of your product. The small section which shows how different people would utilize the program was especially effective at showing the wide range of potential users and how educators would benefit. When considering whether to invest in the venture, I kept feeling like I needed more information to make a decision. The pitch would benefit from having more information about the market, the competition, and your fundraising goals. Ultimately, I love the idea of connecting amateurs and professionals and sharing a crowd sourced database and your pitches do an excellent job of highlighting the potential power of your collaboration software. Great work.

Feedback: Nicely done, you are tackling a very common problem in education. Your video does a great job of introducing and describing the problem but I found that the pacing of your elevator pitch made it difficult to understand what kind of solution you are offering; the app looks easy to use but I couldn't quite tell what it does. Ultimately, the video made me want to know more about your venture so overall it is effective. Good work.

Review: Excellent idea and pitch! Your elevator pitch video does an excellent job of highlighting the function of your application and I was convinced to learn more about your venture. Both of your videos have a personal feel which is very effective, asking questions is a great way to introduce your topic and engage the viewer. I was a little confused at the beginning of your pitch because your video takes a few moments to connect the questions asked at the start, to the problem your application is solving. Because your introduction is engaging and the problem and solution are explained clearly later on, the timing of the video is effective and it gives a feeling of resolution. The discussion of the market, your team, and your venture's revenue projections are very effective. As an investor, I feel like this is where your pitch really shines. Before investing, I would only require bit more information about your marketing strategy. Your number of user projections are useful but how you are actually going to get there is a bit vague. Overall, the pitch is engaging, well researched, and professional. Great job.

Feedback: Nice work, you are definitely tackling an important issue in education, technology has made it very easy to plagiarize images. Because royalty free images already exist, your elevator pitch would benefit from having more detail about how your product will suit the education market better then the competition. Overall, your pitch was well done, the personal narrative of your pitch is effective, I feel more inclined to invest when I understand the entrepreneur's motivation.

Feedback: Excellent elevator pitch, very concise descriptions of the problem, the solution, and the investment you are looking for. I like the personal feel of the pitch; it's simple and connects the investor to the entrepreneur. I would suggest a simple title or concluding graphic to package the video but overall I am curious about the venture which means the elevator pitch is effective.

Feedback: Nice elevator pitch Laura, your video clearly explains the problem and looks great. As an investor, I would like to see or hear some details about what the venture is looking for to move forward; what does it take to get involved? Overall, Course Coach is a excellent idea and your pitch works.
