Games and Learning – Market Analysis. Games have been a very genuine part of learning for some time. Hello Tracy, STEM is my passion too and I was looking to see much more in this Venture. The Elevator did not engage me in any idea of what you are actually doing, but it did my curiosity going to see the complete project. It was a challenge for me to concentrate on your presentation, maybe because of the background noise or other factors. However, I did not see or catch the way that you are going to engage all but primarily girls int his STEM project. What you are offering, or what the app is offering was not very clear to me as an investor. So, I was asking what is the platform that these projects are based on? How are your competitors? And how does it really work in school and home? I am very excited about this Application, especially it targets girls. Good luck. G.

Hello Stephanie, Very interesting presentation. I was well engaged with both your clips the elevator and the venture too. I loved the way that you presented, organized and structured the information of your product. It was clear that you have a very solid product and a confident team behind this idea.I also, have to high light your educational skills that you have mentioned in your presentation even though you have made it clear that you are targeting the financial sector. As a teacher, we go through many PD days a year. Some of the courses that we take are not what we need as an individual teacher, so we have no say in what we want to be trained in. This is my selling point to this venture. Your Venture hight light the individual need of each employee, to keep track of each course, and create a healthy competition between colleagues for the benefit of the company. So, the concern is how provide you with all of these courses or simply, who is designing your courses?Who deliver these courses? Are you connected with a third party or you and your team do all the work? I am asking because you mentioned that you can join two competitors to your app. So, are you buying their contents or partnering with them. However, great idea and I would be happy to invest in this idea. Great Work. Good Luck. G.

Hello Rob, Great elevator, I think having the founder and the CEO presenting the product. As a teacher, I can tell you that this Venture is needed to organize all tabs and open websites, etc. However, I have some questions regarding integrating all application and websites into your Last-Dash. How would you get the consent of Kahoot, Quizlet (website based activity) into your new software, I think a permission is needed especially that most of these websites are not owned applications or digital media platforms such as Vimeo, Youtube, Khan Academy..etc. Therefore, as an investor, I would like to look into the legality of the sharing other websites and applications. In addition, investors would love to investigate the potential markets within North America and the global market as well. So, my question is who is buying this product? the Individual teachers or the school boards? How much you are charging the individual teachers and the school boards. And my last question is about the competitors. As you mentioned that your Last-Dash is between expensive software and free software which is very good. However, my advice is to get students engaged in this software like a kind of communication between them because from my experience, investor look at students as the potential buyers more than school teachers. However, Last-Dash has good potential to attract investors. Good Luck! G.

Hello Justin, Thank you for this venture, I have to say that your detailed website has covered all the questions that any investor would have. I think Your Elevator Pitch is very reliable to see the CEO of a company to advertise his own product rather than a presentation that can be done by any one. The venture is a great idea that we all need it in our writing, not just students, however, I am understanding from your presentation that this Microgram app is designed just for students in all levels. In addition to that, this app is designed as an application so it cannot be used in desk tops at all. Most of the teachers today, if not all of them work with the big screen desk top or a laptop to mark the student's' work. So my advice here is to allow this application to be used on computers too. The detailed process of how this app works was great, but it is very long for students. Currently, I am working in a school that has Google as a base for all of our communications, we are a google school. When students write their essays and submitted it to their teachers who will then add comments and send it back to the students. Then the student will rewrite the essay and send it back for final mark. All of this process is done through Google products for free and it is all electronically done. I know that adding the computer component will create a larger category of comparatives than you have mentioned in your website, however, I can see the potential growth of your application within these competitors anyway. Your Pitch Venture is a great opportunity for investors. Good luck.

Hello Jakin, Thank you for sharing your venture. I think that Makerspce is a great idea to start with. I enjoyed your elevator, It caught my attention as a teacher, so I thought it is a very good idea for students. However, when I start reading your Venture Pitch thinking as an investor I was looking to know about "who are you today as Soma in the world" and I was also looking at "How it works" giving that all the Makerspaces that you have mentioned in your Pitch were in one or two cities in North America, one in Europe and one in China. I am very happy to invest in your pitch because as an educator I was always looking to involve my students in projects but I never found a place that can be shared or tools that can satisfy all the students need. So, as an investor, I would ask the following question: Do you have some technological platform to get connected between Makerspaces in the same city or the same country? Are there any possibilities for a potential franchise for SOMA, so investors will look into the maximizing revenues? Therefore, the idea is a great idea that would contribute a great deal to education. I can see a great potential growth in this Pitch in the future due to the expansion of SOMA in the future. Great Job. G.

Hello Erin, Thank you for this venture that it seems that is working very well at Lethbridge College. As an educator, I can tell you right away, it is one of the best ventures that I have seen in terms of igniting the creativity for educators especially the ones who work most of the time in an office space. However, it seems to me that it is a physical location that exists at one location which you offer in this venture. If this is the case, as an investor, I should be one of the Lethbridge College to see the big market that is existing there. While I am an international investor, I have to be asking my self about the expanding market that you are targeting in the future. I would be asking would you share your expertise with other universities and colleges? would you be interested in consultancy services? The work place is one of the hottest topics within the corporate world of today. I do agree with you that the work place ignites the creativity and the increase the productivity of the employee. Would your venture be able to service also to the other professions other than education? Collab has a creative team that can guarantee the completion of projects through out hubs of innovation and many other which sound a unique offer to the teacher in general. However, I am questioning about the integration of technology in this venture. Is Collab open to offer software or application to keep up with the market of today? In sum, I will be very interested to invest in this great project especially that I am an educator and I can see the amazing and unlimited positive outcome of this project, However, we I think we should offer this cool experience to other places. Great job with the website. I think it was simple and direct to the point. Good luck in your venture. G.

Hello Anne, As an online learner, I think this is the right venture that we need to invest in. In my last school, we have created a mindfulness room for students and staff that can offer services to all the school. We were very popular among students and staff, some staff volunteered to teach also Yoga in their free time to students and faculty. Having said that I was very impressed with your venture and I can be a potential human investor and financial investor as well. My questions about this venture are how does it work in term of technological factors. Computers vs tablets or smart devices application. I am imagining that this application that if t is installed would force somehow the user to stand up every 10 minutes and do some movements etc. The market value and the market projections are not well explained too, and therefore, if we are looking at potential investors we need to show them the potential market especially schools vs higher edutain students. My other concern is where can we implement this venture in primary schools? investors believe in covering all potential markets as much as they can in order to maximize their profits. Great website, and venture. Good Luck. G.

Hello Kevin, Thank you for introducing a great, well designed and planned venture to all of us. In this venture, I have seen a very well representation of your venture with great details which is a very positive aspect to invest in you as well as in your venture. The well-produced elevator pitch video was a success to capture my attention to your venture. as well as the main topic of enriching and professionally develop teacher skills to match the 21st century level of teaching to the future digital students. Often, the PD days that teachers attend to focus on the existing ways of teaching instead of introducing new innovative ways of teaching in order to reach out to every student in the classroom. As an educator and international teacher, I can affirm that there are lots of demands to this type of venture especially when it comes to teaching internationally. While working internationally I have seen and experienced a great variety of curriculum that required a special kind of training and coaching for teachers. IB program, Montessori, English National curriculum etc. are simple examples of these challenges that teachers need to learn in order to keep their job and catch up with the new 21st century students. I have seen that you are offering services in both online and face-to-face which can guarantee the inclusion of all teacher learners. At this point, I am wondering about the coasting factor of this venture offering face-to face services especially internationally. Do you have personal around the world that teach and enrich teachers experiences in the classroom? As an investor, I am wondering how much this services would cast and if this cost would affect the price that you are offering when you are selling the services. The price if it is high, would affect the supply and demand factor as most of the international schools are private and looking after their profit as well as the PD cost for their teachers. So, how can this venture be a competitive company in price to the online courses that are very low in cast? Overall, it is a great venture that would have lots of potential investors who can see the educational and the financial benefits. G.

Hello Ali, Thank you for the sharing your venture regarding Babbel 2.0. I assume that the VideoScibe clip in the Home page was your elevator pitch which I had to view it at least twice and pause it many times to read all the great information that you added there. It was very fast for the normal reader. However, coming from the same background of language passion, I can tell you that, I do agree with you in this venture. Learning languages applications and software are in high demand around the world. Navigating your website, I can say that you have included a great amount of information that can convince any investor of putting money into your company; the new version of existing Babbel. I do agree with, as an educator, I agree that visual learning, in general, is what lacks in the market of teaching languages software. From my experience, I can say that most of these websites are made by teachers for teachers and they should have been done for students too, using a variety of strategies to teach languages, exactly as what you are offering here to add to the existing version of Babbel. Having said that, I was wondering how can you convince the real company of your adjustments. Are you looking into being a partner with them once you introduce the changes, or you are satisfied to be an employee? I think this question determines how is going to invest in this company and why. Are we, as investors, investing in you as well as in your new product? If I am to invest in your venture, I would have liked to see some examples of the lessons that you are offering with your newly designed Babbel 2.0. as a demonstration of visual integration of teaching new languages. Deffenatlly, It is an opportunity to invest in this sector and support a new idea. Great Venture, and Good luck. G.

Hello Janna, And thank you for your venture. Your elevator pitch was great to capture my attention and make me going to your website to read more about your venture. You have explained very well the need of this service among the population of Canada. The technology that you have presented on the venture page of your website (PIXIO) is a very good technology for students, in general. I can see many opportunities for students to benefit from it at schools. The other video clip did not work for some reason. Your integration of the brochure in you page was very well integrated too and well informative. However, I do not see me as a potential investor in your venture for the following reasons. 1- I did not see or read about you, for example, I did not see a page that talks about Who are you, as a company? 2-I do not see the Canadain code for training dogs explained (Who is the governmental body that regulates this industry.) 3- How can your company monitor the training of these future trainers and how can you assess them in order to certify them. 4- How much are you offering the future trainers to be trainers? 5- I do not see the clear connection between training dogs for this great services and schools. How can you involve students or schools in your venture? 6- I cannot see the potential profit as an investor. Even though I see how noble and great this service to people in need can be, especially if it is true, that there is lots of demand of people who offer this services in Canada. However, I am very sorry, I am not sure if I will be the right person to invest here. Good luck with your venture. Ghassan
