Hello, and thank you for taking the time to review my project. This is my A3 project where I have created HealthPlus. HealthPlus is a program that combines microlessons and wearable technology to improve the ability to deliver support to students struggling with anxiety and/or mental health concerns. It allows for targeted, individualized, and […]

Hello, from Merritt, B.C.
By Robert on January 6, 2020
Hi all, My name is Robert and I am looking forward to working with all of you. I live in Merritt B.C. where I teach grade 11/12 at an online school. I actually ended up teaching online by accident. When I was applying on the job I thought it was a traditional classroom job. While […]

REVIEW: You've clearly identified the benefit to using gradenetix and who will benefit from it. While it is clear that gradenetix will be able to grade an assignment it is not clear what types of feedback it will provide and how useful this will be for students and teachers using it. It was clear the time saving benefit gradenetix would provide which would allow for more student teacher interactions. If I were to invest I would want to ensure that a project manager worked with developers with feedback from teachers and districts to ensure that the feedback created not only allows for a grade but empowers teachers with a clear picture of their students abilities and needs. We would also need to ensure that any concerns or needs from a district level are addressed as well, as they will be the larger and targeted primary purchasers.

REVIEW: Well done! Your elevator pitch had me hooked and your venture pitch has me asking where do I go to invest. You've clearly shown what Zaffold can do and why people would want to buy it. The fact that the technology already exists to create this is a definite plus. This is followed by a clear identification of the market, how it would be launched and projected revenues. This was easy to follow, detailed, and gave a clear picture. At the end of your venture pitch I was not left with concerns or questions. I would invest.

REVIEW: Concierge appears to be a great solution to the challenge of onboarding new employees. The use of a chatbot to provide support and connection to new employees would be an effective way to do this and create savings within an organization by reducing the percentage of new staff that leaves. Using a well build and designed chatbot would also allow for Consierge to be used by organizations operating in different fields and in different sizes. The fact that there are already similar products on the market makes this a hard sell. While Consierge has some unique features I don’t know if this is enough to warrant investment. If I were to invest I would like to see the following. - specialists in HR, designers, and programmers to ensure that Consierge is scalable and customizable by clients and easily adapts to different types of jobs and markets. - ensure that Consierge functions in multiple languages even if it was set up using one specific language. This would open up markets worldwide but also encourage large corporations that may have staff in different parts of the world whose first languages are different to use it. With the previous mentioned additions/adjustments I would recommend Consierge for Investment. Well done Amanda!

FEEDBACK: Hi Brian, I really enjoyed your pitch. It was clear to the need, purpose, and benefits. It was almost one of the ones I reviewed (invest in) and the reason I chose not to was because I couldn't picture a large enough market for it.

FEEDBACK: Hi Scott, I really enjoyed your pitch and had a hard time deciding if it would be one of my reviews. I think the reason at the end I decided not to review (invest) is because I could absolutely see the benefits of FocalEd but didn't feel the need behind it. With so many needs within education this felt like a nice to have not a need to have and therefore made me question if organizations would purchase it with more pressing needs within their school systems.

FEEDBACK: Hi Aziza, I enjoyed watching your pitch! It sounds like a really neat idea with a large market and need to be filled. I found while watching your elevator pitch that it moved fairly quickly. This left me speed reading and missing some of your information along the way. It took several times through to make sure I had all the information and picture what you were describing.

FEEDBACK: Hi Carla, Thank you for your pitch. You've done a great job of identifying a strong need and coming up with a solution. At the end though as an investor I was not clear on why I'd want to invest from a financial standpoint. From a development, social, moral, yes but wasn't sure how there would be a return on an investment.

FEEDBACK: Hi Emily, Thank you for your pitch! I like the idea and it certainly targets a common issue. At the end of your elevator pitch I was clear on the market, the need, and how FOODIKI would address it but wasn't clear on how it separates itself from other apps and programs out there that accomplish many of the same goals.

FEEDBACK: Hi Vivien, Thank you for your pitch! After reviewing it I can certainly understand the need for getting an education that leads to and is accepted by post-secondary institutions. My question though is how is EduBreath different than attending an online school that does provide a High School education that is accepted by post-secondary institutions world wide as there are jurisdictions where this is currently the case.

FEEDBACK: Hi Tyler, Thank you for your elevator pitch! It flowed nicely and your media and was clear and easy to follow. Your idea is an interesting one, especially in today's world. While I was viewing your elevator pitch you mention that your product can be used in place of traditional hand sanitizers. You don't mention why this is needed or a good thing though. This is what I would be looking for. The why your product is better or needed.
