FEEDBACK: Hi Melissa, it is so evident from your pitch your commitment and passion for this venture. The story is inspiring and showcases what we can do to move towards reconciliation. To make your pitch even more appealing, I would have loved to see an example of the work your students are doing with story telling. I think the focus is not so much to make the northern regions of Ontario visible on street view, but to connect those regions with authentic stories. I found myself digging around your site looking for such a video where as I navigate through the northern regions, I get audio on the history of the land. Perhaps you have a link to such a thing and I have missed it! What a wonderful idea you have here and I can’t wait to see it grow more!

Hi Ying! Thank you for your comment and suggestions - and also for visiting the Walk With Us site! If you look at the Resources page (https://sites.google.com/view/walkwithusproject/resources?authuser=0) you’ll be able to see a couple tours. Also, if you open in a mobile browser and tap the “Poly” icon at the top LH corner, you can view the tour with VR goggles. As of now, Google Tour Creator does not support video (only audio). I am hoping this will change, but for now, the video interviews students conduct will be added as links, and/or accompaniments to the Walk With Us community map submission form. The next phase for Walk With Us will be classrooms across Canada learning from each other, and Walk With Us has a partner to make that happen (Digital Human Library). Thank you so much for your feedback!
