Feedback: You had a good elevator pitch that used the tool (PowToon) effectively and to full advantage. You covered all the information I need to know as an EVA. I use Trello (free version) so I was intrigued by your take on the product and how to improve it. One suggestion I have is your pitch is slightly directed at the end user…”Have you ever had to…” The problem and solution was clear but more to me as the user than an investor. A slight tweak to the audience would help. Maybe something along the lines of “We’ve heard from our existing 4 million customers. They are frustrated with other online tools, they love Trello and want it to do more. With our last round of funding we made crazy improvements that our customers are thrilled with – and they’re telling their friends. With your investment we can accelerate and make Trello the go-to tool for online learning in higher ed and business”
I read through your venture pitch. It was very impressive. I like that you included the financial model. Right now Trello is a freemium model and some companies using this method to gain customers are struggling to create paying customers so including this was a smart idea. Well done!
