Hi Bryan, thanks for your feedback. You are right, this is a product more appropriate for instructional designer. As an instructional designer myself, I am remiss to not have included my own trade as a target audience. I will certainly rethink my marketing strategy. Yes, this product would have to be hosted on an LMS, but my competitors in the e-learning authoring tool industry (Captivate, Storyline, Lectora, etc), do not provide LMS either. If you were to think of this is a cabinetmaker’s workshop, I am looking to sell the tools rather than the entire workshop itself, because as you pointed out building and running an LMS is a massive undertaking, not to mention extremely expensive.
