Hi Jennifer. Wow – your pitch video was so well done! It was clear and confident, and really showcased the product and demonstrated the need for games (and in particular, this one) to master math concepts in the classroom. I know that in your reflection you feel that you didn’t differentiate between Stardew Valley and Prodigy (as they both use adaptive learning, they are both math games for the same age groups, offer Canadian content, etc), but you do include this point: “The game rewards students who work together on a common task such as complete quests together, or help others tend to their farms”. I am not sure if Prodigy allows for collaborative tasks, but if it doesn’t, that would be a great differentiator. Your venture document is great; concise and visually appealing. You provide an excellent Venture Plan, including Market Readiness, Financials and a proposed timeline, which I appreciate. Very professional all around; I’d invest!
