Hi Week 7 Team! I learned a lot from your OER and particularly enjoyed the interactive infographics you embedded using Genially (https://www.genial.ly/) – what a great resource! Differentiating gamification and game-based learning right away was useful, because I think that would have caused confusion further down the line. Although we were focusing on digital game-based learning, it would have been interesting to see some examples of non-digital game-based learning activities (although you had plenty of content, so probably not necessary to add more). Forecasting the market growth in game-based learning aligned well with this course’s objectives, and it was a well-planned decision to narrow your focus of game-based learning to AR/VR (otherwise, there might be too much information to go around). One thing that I would have appreciated would be a choice to participate in either the K-6 or 7-12 Focus Activities, since they had similar questions. Thank you for your detailed presentation!

Hi Cass, Thanks for your ideas. There is a lot of research out there and more applications/games are being developed. It makes a great opportunity for investment. We found that it was important to clarify between gamification and game based learning as they are similar and can get mixed up.
