I like the idea of having lighter version of tablet which can be convenient for travel. Textbooks are heavy and tablets are very fragile that it can be dropped at any time. I have seen tablets that are cracked and broken so often from the students. Instead of handing out the tablet, paper tablet can be easy for teachers and students and maintain well. Its unfortunate that I wasn’t able to get more information regarding to the paper tablet through the YouTube video. I don’t know how much it cost (I’m sure its not going to be cheap since its touch screen), maintenance, any updates, internet access, repair cost…etc. I will still not invest in this venture because paper tablet does not have good features like normal tablet. Its shown in black and white, no video playing, and wires make difficult to use in the classroom. Thinking of having 20 different lines for 20 students can be unmanageable in the classroom. I would use either regular tablet or computer instead of investing money on paper tablet.
