Second language learning is often very challenging and this seems like a new and fun way to learn. The co-founders have clearly thought about the learning that needs to be accomplished, and the idea of practicing the language by translating documents is intriguing. Von Ahn has experience in creating successful start-ups. Like many of the other entrepreneurs, it appears that he leaves the running of the business to others, in this case by selling them to other companies, so he can focus on developing new ideas. He has also been highly recognized with fellowships and on lists of people to watch. I think he is a good example of an inventive person who can identify products that are needed.
