The sell to the schools would certainly be the hardest; I often find that in my field, one of the hardest “sells” is to convince people of the trend towards “as a service”, or moving to operating costs from capital purchases.
I think you nailed the biggest challenge here which is that, often times, social media “trends” change quicker than a LMS like I propose could keep up. Students, particularly in high schools, would likely go through multiple new trending apps before LMS’s could even try to ‘copy’ the unique-ness. I think, what would be best, is a true, but light, version of Social Media. Specifically not going after what’s new, but utilizing what’s proven.
