By osayma on September 20, 2015

Disruptive Trends in  The Education Industry Overview by Jon Cropper, Futurlogic. I reviewed this rich source and I found it worthy. Greetings from Saskatchewan!

Greetings from Saskatchewan!

By Josh Stigall on September 7, 2014

Hello! My name is Josh Stigall and this picture clearly wasn’t taken in Saskatchewan! (At least I’m wearing a Riders shirt.) The picture is very appropriate, however, because I was born and raised in California before moving to Saskatchewan after high school graduation. (It’s a bit of a long story, but the short of it […]

Canada 2020′s new policy paper

By mzivkocms on June 4, 2014

Canada’s performance in higher education and skills development has been fairly strong for many years. 19 Sep Posted on Ontario Universities’ Council on e-Learning (OUCEL) Wiki

I posted this Wiki as an additional source for market projections, because it has proven to be a valuable resource to my colleagues and I with respect to trends in e-Learning and technology. It brings an “on the ground perspective” through the open sharing of resources and perspectives that are included on the wiki. The membership tends to be higher level decision makers in campus technology as well as teaching and learning (and their teams) from universities across Ontario. In addition to the wiki, the membership meets in person twice a year to discuss current topics in technology and learning and, essentially “compare notes”. While it is clearly anchored in the Ontario Higher Ed context, the focal points of its ongoing projects may be of wider interest. Similarly, the Wiki’s general resources, along with the resources posted to each of the yearly institutes and meetings pages, provide insights that might appeal to the wider educational community.
